Prospective Members, Show Participants, other Visitors

For your convenience, two significant functions are now available on line:

1. Membership Application with optional payment online. We offer 2 types of membership - Regular Member ($20) and Updates Only (Free).
 
2. Show Registration with optional payment online. Note that registration is shown as Free as our show does not have an admittance fee, but all activities with a fee must be selected individually in the registration process.

Overview of information available on the site:

Activities Blog.  The blog functionality of this platform provides an excellent tool for posting reviews of our activities as well as updates on our upcoming events such as meetings, shows and swaps. We hope you will find this helpful and will visit us regularly for updates.

Note:  An RSS feed subscription is available for those who are using RSS readers to be notified of updates to favorite sites and blogs.  

Coming Events.  This section provides a listing of our events with details and a capability to register (if required). 

Photos.  This is an exciting new section.  In addition to pages with past club pipes, club souvenirs, and a history of our show, we now have the ability visitors to see member pipes as well as for members to offer items for sale.

Membership.  This explains the benefits of membership and offers some photos from past activities.

Club Members

Everything for all visitors applies to members as well.  The following sections explain the use of additional functionality available to members.

With this site you have the ability to maintain your own profile information and upload photos in up to 5 albums you create. In order to access these capabilities, you must login with your email and a password in the upper right corner above. Existing members must follow the next procedure.  It does not apply to new members who join using the member application function provided under the Membership tab.

[Since the password is controlled only by the member, your first step must be to use the "Forgot Password" function in the upper right section of the site. That brings up a form to enter your email - the one on record with the club. Submitting that email will cause an email to be sent containing a link to a password entry screen. Once you have entered the password, you will be able to login. 

After you have logged in, two items appear:
1. A link to View Profile under your name in the upper right
2. A Members Only menu item which turns on a second level menu bar that provides information available only to members.

View Profile

This function gives you full control of your profile information.
1. Show Profile
2. Edit Profile
3. Set privacy - access to specific pieces of your information
4. Control email material sent to you
5. Load photo albums

Member Directory

This function displays all members with a link to each profile. Two searches are provided for more selective access to specific members.  The Keyword Search uses only the name field. The Advanced Search allows selection from information in any field.

Membership Renewal.  This process is now automated.
 
Each year you will receive notification that your membership fee is due. To renew, you merely login, click on View Profile, and select the Renewal button.  You then have the option to pay online or to pay manually by mail or at a club meeting.
